Frequently Asked Questions

  • Ideally as soon as possible, to make sure you can lock in your big day before someone else does!

I am currently accepting bookings for 2027. Enquiries for 2026 will be added to a waitlist in case of any cancellations.

  • The live wedding painter will require a short photoshoot with the couple as early in the day as possible to begin the artwork.

    Floor Plan:
A space to set up near a power outlet for plugging in lights and equipment. Minimum 2 m x 2 m, in a space that will not obstruct guests, staff or vendors. If outdoors, I will need a shaded area to work such as an umbrella or marquee. The event of rain or heavy winds will require an indoor space to avoid damage to the canvas.

  • Send me an enquiry. We’ll chat about your day and what you’re looking for. If our stars align, you’ll be sent a booking form to secure the date.

  • My live painting packages range between $2900-$3300 AUD. With optional add on services such as framing and prints.
Alternatively in-studio wedding paintings can range from $1600-$2400 AUD.

To secure the date for live painting you only need a small deposit, and the rest can be decided later!

  • Yes. Afterpay users can select payment plans for their invoices. Paypal, Apple Pay and credit card options are also available for easy and secure payments.

  • Currently I am only accepting bookings within Australia. My packages include travel around Melbourne and Yarra Valley. Rural areas of Victoria may incur additional fees depending on the travel and accommodation requirements.

Australian interstate travel fees from $2250AUD
New Zealand travel fees from $3250AUD
    International bookings not currently available.

  • Depending on the timeline of your day, I aim to cover the whole canvas by the end of the night with the first layer of oil paint. The tonal composition in place, and your portrait likenesses.
After our photoshoot, I sort through photos, create a mockup, and get started on drawing to map out the composition of the artwork. I then add a light underpainting and begin oil painting. A minimum of 5 hours after photoshoot is required to achieve the first layer at your celebration. 6 for larger canvases.

  • I take the painting back to my studio for details and touch ups. When the paint is dry, it will be varnished before being shipped or picked up.

  • Yes absolutely. Some couples chose a moment that reflects the first look, first kiss, aisle exit, or dance. During our consultation we will discuss the vision and preferences for your painting, our photoshoot will be a few minutes of photo-taking with prompts that reflect the perfect moment. Requests for first dance inspired paintings will be briefly recreated during a controlled photoshoot earlier in the day.

We’ll discuss all your vision and requests in the design consultation.

Send an inquiry to discuss or arrange a consultation before booking.

  • Upon the couples request- I can invite guests to contribute some brushstrokes to the painting during live bookings. It can be a wonderful way to make the work feel more interactive, and knowing some extra love is going into the painting too!

The guests may be invited to paint in some brushstrokes in the scenery such as leaves, flowers or sky.

Guests are invited to paint by the discretion of the artist to preserve the safety of the painting. Guests who display disorderly conduct will not be invited to contribute to the painting.

  • I paint portraits of people & pets, still life & landscapes. Paintings from my own imagination of mythical fairytales when I can, too! I love to explore traditional oil painting techniques as well as impressionistic styles.

A wedding painting will include a representation of the happy couple, typically in the scenery of their big day. We’ll discuss how your painting can best reflect you and your story.

  • A hundred percent yes!
